As a DU alum, you have been a part of Davenport’s past, and we hope you will want to participate in the supporting its future by answering our “1 Million Penny Challenge,” an effort to raise $10,000 or more for student scholarships by June 30, 2010.

Just ask Steve Axdorff ‘89, senior mortgage loan officer at Founders Bank & Trust, and Paul Jendrasiak ’94, CEO at, why they are supporting the challenge with gifts of $500 each—10% of the overall challenge goal!

Steve says: “I am where I am in my career because of my education from Davenport. I, like most students, took out student loans to go to college, so when I received my scholarships I was extremely grateful. Now it is my turn to give back. I am giving $500 to help support scholarships for other students like me.” Keep reading…
