Student Day of Research

If you are currently or will be in a Capstone class this upcoming year, make sure to talk with a graduate faculty member regarding the Student Day of Research event that will be coming up in March 2014. This event is intended to showcase the top student research occurring at Davenport University. The event will include a guest speaker, students presenting their research via poster and discussion, and the awarding of outstanding research monetary awards.

Specific criteria for judging the research presentations are currently under development. Information regarding the exact proposal submission deadlines, judging criteria, and amount of the awards will be announced in September. However, in order to participate, students will need a faculty sponsor. Students can begin finding a faculty sponsor now. Stay tuned for further details regarding this inaugural event.

Governor’s Thought of the Day

To my fellow DU Panthers: Use your trials and tribulations as fuel to reach your aspirations in school, career and in life. Never settle for the limitation placed in front of you by others just view it as a challenge that you will meet and exceed!
