It’s a free event and is open to all Davenport University students. The festivities will include carnival games, food, student organizations, university departments, local businesses, area restaurants and much more! This is a great opportunity to meet new people, catch up with old friends, and learn about involvement opportunities on campus and in the community. Student Day of Research

If you are currently or will be in a Capstone class this upcoming year, make sure to talk with a graduate faculty member regarding the Student Day of Research event that will be coming up in March 2014. This event is intended to showcase the top student research occurring at Davenport University. The event will include a guest speaker, students presenting their research via poster and discussion, and the awarding of outstanding research monetary awards.

Specific criteria for judging the research presentations are currently under development. Information regarding the exact proposal submission deadlines, judging criteria, and amount of the awards will be announced in September. However, in order to participate, students will need a faculty sponsor. Students can begin finding a faculty sponsor now. Stay tuned for further details regarding this inaugural event.

Student Government Election Time

Greetings one and all Panthers,

Spring is right around the corner and change is in air, which signifies it time once again to elect or run for the Student Government office of Student Governor at the Warren campus. This fundamental leadership role is an opportunity to serve and advocate for the DU student community while proactively igniting positive change that will shape the campus environment for current and future students. In addition, to cultivating new dynamic ideas and building new relationships thru networking with not just other students on the Warren campus, but across each of the campuses that make up this fine institution of higher learning we know as Davenport University. Student Government at Davenport University is a remarkable platform that students can utilize to make a profound difference by participating in the political process through collaboration and sharing their diverse perspectives that will further enhance our college experience and strengthen the Panther Spirit!

Therefore, I enthusiastically encourage every student at Davenport University’s Warren campus to get involved with Student Government to help make a difference. So, if you are seriously ready to show your Panther Spirit, make a lasting positive impact, and leave an astonishing legacy for others to follow and build upon please go to OrgSync to view the requirements for all available positions.
