DU Flint alumni, students, staff, and faculty are being asked to roll up their sleeves for this year’s Make a Difference Day. That is because this national day of service is being celebrated with the Make a Difference Day- College Town Blood Drive. This event is much more than just a blood drive. This event is a competition among Flint’s colleges to see which can get the most students, staff, alumni, and supporters to come out and donate a pint of blood for the American Red Cross.
The Make a Difference Day College Town Blood Drive will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, October 23, and will be held at Courtland Center Mall.
Donors can reserve a time to donate blood here. When reserving a time be sure to enter the sponsor code, College Town. Or call 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767) to register.
The first 100 people to register online to give blood will receive a Make a Difference Day t-shirt when they donate.
